Singapore Explores Agentic AI Applications in Healthcare Amid National AI Expansion

Singapore is exploring the use of agentic AI in healthcare as it accelerates the adoption of advanced AI technologies across its public health system.

To support AI adoption, Synapxe has launched several initiatives, including GenAIus Hub, a learning repository designed to improve understanding of generative AI among healthcare workers, Synapxe Tandem, a platform that provides prompt templates and a secure environment for healthcare professionals to test and evaluate generative AI applications at scale. Beyond generative AI, Singapore has expanded its healthcare AI ecosystem through platforms such as AimSG and HEALIX.

According to Andy Ta, chief data officer and director of DNA, Synapxe is focused on helping healthcare institutions overcome barriers to AI adoption and is also organising competitions that encourage healthcare practitioners to apply generative AI to real-world clinical and operational challenges while developing skills in large language model deployment.
