Living longer in good health, priority for Singapore’s healthcare system

During the GovInsider's Healthcare Day 2025, speakers at the opening plenary panel discussion, titled Whole-of-Government Health Transformation: Building a Resilient, Equitable, and Tech-Enabled Singapore, highlighted the importance of inter-agency collaboration and the integration of technology to improve health outcomes in Singapore.

The initiative Healthier SG aims to transition from reactive to proactive healthcare, encouraging preventive measures among citizens through collaboration among various agencies. Ng Hui Choo, Deputy Director of Centre of Programme Management, MOH Programmes at Synapxe, emphasised the need for co-designing digital tools with stakeholders to ensure they are practical and inclusive. Synapxe collaborates closely with the Ministry of Health (MOH) to develop solutions that address real-world challenges faced by patients and providers. The implementation of integrated electronic medical records, supported by Synapxe, is a key example of this collaboration.
