Success Stories: Call-For-Innovation

1. SoundEye is a fall detection technology startup monitoring falls among Singapore’s ageing population in settings such as beds, wheelchairs and other facilities, requires constant monitoring and support, impacting a resident's privacy and quality of life. As part of Synapxe’s HealthX Network, SoundEye participated in the HealthX Call-For-Innovation, was shortlisted as one of the startups to pitch at the inaugural HealthX Startup Day organised by Synapxe, and eventually emerged as Selected Partner by Singapore Christian Home (SCH) project sponsor. 

The SoundEye mobile LASSO solution, developed in collaboration with Singapore Christian Home (SCH) through Synapxe’s HealthX Startup Day 2023, addresses these challenges. LASSO’s innovative mobile design allows it to switch between bed and chair settings seamlessly and easily. It enhances current processes of continuous monitoring, ensuring only residents who need close surveillance are monitored.

2. EliteFit.AI is a healthcare technology startup enhancing client engagement in rehabilitation for people with mobility impairments in Singapore's healthcare system. Traditional physiotherapy rehabilitation often faces challenges with patient compliance, accessibility, and cost, impacting recovery outcomes and healthcare efficiency. As part of Synapxe's HealthX Network, EliteFit.AI participated in the HealthX Call-For-Innovation and was featured in the programme's initiatives.

The EliteFit.AI mobile rehabilitation solution aims to address these challenges through real-time feedback and accuracy scoring on mobile devices. The solution enables patients to complement their rehabilitation exercises whilst providing physiotherapists with patients’ progress reports. Through this Proof-Of-Concept (POC), EliteFit.AI has gained valuable insights and learnings that helped shape the development of the next product roadmap.

3. Biologic Technik is a deep tech start-up focused on medical solutions and digital health. Traditional hospital inventory management often faces challenges with manual tracking, inaccurate stock levels, and inefficient reordering processes, leading to wastage, stockouts, and increased operational costs that impact healthcare delivery efficiency. Biologic Technik was awarded a HealthX Call-for-Innovation (CFI) during HealthX Startup Day 2024.  

Biologic Technik collaborates with Woodlands Health by employing the Biologic SIMs (Smart Inventory Management System) solution, IoT sensors, computer vision, and machine learning technologies from March 2025 to December 2025 to address these challenges. Through this Proof-Of-Concept (POC), Biologic Technik has the opportunity to test and evolve their solution in different hospital environments and enhance their AI capabilities.
